Sellas Tetteh-We Weren’t Clinical on That Day.
Ghana coach Sellas Tetteh has blamed poor finishing for his sides 2:0
semi final defeat to Nigeria at the African Youth Championship in
Senegal on Tuesday.
Obinna Nwobodo and Muhammed Musa scored in each half to hand the Nigerians victory.
The defeat has ended the Black Satellites’ dream of a second successive final appearance.
In a post match interview, Sellas Tetteh felt his side could have done better.
“I’m hugely disappointed because we weren’t clinical. We got good looking chances to finish it but we couldn’t. Our opponents got not too clear chances and they scored twice, but that is football. The boys gave everything except the finishing was our problem.
