“I was surprised to hear people saying that I have defecated on myself. That is not entirely true. After the game, we were held hostage by the home fans and I had a strong stomach upset so I told a policeman I wanted to ease myself but he told me it will be difficult for me to go out because the supporters were agitated. He therefore showed me a small plantain farm so I run there to ease myself and as I was doing my thing, some of the home supporters started running towards me, shouting and pointing fingers at me. They started hurling stones at me so I hurriedly wore my shorts (without wiping) and ran for safety.
