Inbee Park Returns to Defend World Ladies Championship Title

World No 2 Inbee Park looks to defend her World Ladies Championship title when she returns to Mission Hills this week.

The Korean fired a course record 62 on her way to a five-shot victory over Suzanne Pettersen last year and heads to China in form after winning last week’s HSBC Women’s Champions.
Park is also a two-time winner of the team event, following her 2013 victory alongside Kim Ha-Neul by lifting the trophy 12 months later with Ryu So-Yeon.
“Winning the 2014 World Ladies Championship kicked off a great year for me, so I’m delighted to be coming back to Mission Hills Haikou,” Park said. “With Suzann and So-Yeon returning and a strong field from the Ladies European Tour to contend with, defending my title won’t be easy but I’m relishing the challenge.”
