Andy Murray Aims to Clinch his 500th ATP Tour Win at Miami Open
Murray would become just the ninth active player and only the 46th
man in the Open era to achieve the 500-win milestone should he defeat
15th seed Kevin Anderson in the fourth round at Key Biscayne.
The 27-year-old Scotsman eased into the last 16 after breezing past Colombia's Santiago Giraldo 6-3 6-4 to set up a clash against the tall South African, who eliminated Argentina's Leonardo Mayer.
Murray, who won the Miami title in 2009 and 2013, admits 'it's a nice feeling' to be added to the roll of honour once he reaches the half century mark.
"When you see the list of players that have won that many matches there's isn't a lot. I think there are only forty or so players that have done it," said Murray, who has suffered 155 career defeats.
