Paris Saint-Germain on Big Bonus to Beat Chelsea
The French side have never gone further than the quarter-finals in
the Champions League - Chelsea knocking them out at the last-eight stage
last season - but their Qatar-based owners appear to be offering an
added incentive for them to overcome Chelsea on Wednesday night.
According to reports, Laurent Blanc's side having already landed a €100,000 bonus each after reaching the knockout stages. The prize pot increases to €750,000 if they make the final in Berlin and €1m if they were to emerge victorious on May 27.
But Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed his side have not earned any bonuses for their European progress so far, and will only do so should they win the Champions League.
