Black Satellites to Meet Nigeria in Semi-finals
The Satellites were on the back foot for most parts of the
first half as the Malians put pressure on the Ghana. The
Malians dominated and passed the ball around very well.
It paid off on the 18th minute mark when Ichaka Diarra headed the Malians into the lead.
Coach Sellas Tetteh made two substitutions coming into the second half half with Yaw Yeboah and Stephen Tetteh coming on for Asiedu Attobrah and Jonah Osabutey but it couldn’t pay off as the team failed to equalize at the end of the 90 minutes.
