Vice President of Ghana football association and committee chairman of the Black Stars clears the air

George Afriyie the chairman of of the Black Stars was alleged to have a misunderstanding with him after the match with the Pharaoh's. In an interview with Happy FM he said "There's no misunderstanding between Grant and I,  we where not happy after a lose to the Egyptians but that doesn't give me room to have a fracas with the coach. On the news of Grant leaving, we as a committee are yet to meet to decided the faith of Avarm Grant. All hopes isn't lost at all for Ghana in the World Cup qualification we still have four games more to go.  He add if you look at the Black Stars and Ghanaians the Egyptians as a country where ready to qualify for World Cup than Ghanaians.  The Egyptians haven't qualified for World Cup since 1990 and from the look of everything they want to qualify, the media and everybody is behind the team. But the question is "Is Ghana doing same". Well maybe there's a little problem with our preparations from the beginning but we're doing our best to take the team to Russia and we want more support from the fans".
He also confirmed that the next congress will be around December and assured that by that time all cases including that of the clubs in the Ghana Premier League would've been resolved. He told media that he isn't ready to comment about the rumours of sacking Grant and compensating him about 200 thousand dollars until a decision is taken.
