Chairman of the Black Stars management committee, George Afriyie gives supporter some boost ahead of Sunday's game

George Afriyie has been with the team for the past five days in preparations in Dubai for the big game with Egypt and he gave his personal assessment of the team to the supporters.
"I think the purpose for coming here has been achieved,  first we needed good training facilities (gym and training pitches). With most players away from their family and supporters we have been able to give them the concentration needed for big games like this caliber. Vist from the captain of the team (Asamoah Gyan) has really lifted the morale in camp. Lots of Ghanaians will be looking for victory but let's first thank the Sports Ministry and the President John Dramani Mahama for the facility and hotel provided in Dubai". He emphasized that the team is safe and secured security wise though some threats have come to the management but everything is under control. "The truth is that from the interaction, movement and training of the team tells you what to expect in a particular game. If you look at the shape of the team, the preparedness and seriousness nothing tells me we can't get a win in Alexandria. If you have really followed the Black Stars you will acknowledge that in times when all hopes are lost that's when the team brings a combination of magic and some brilliance in stage to surprise the fans. Looking at their training and body language the team will be going for the kill in this game though we have to also be careful of the threat the Egyptians pose", he said in an interview with Ibrahim.
He concluded that the team is doing everything possible not to spoil the party for the away fans and it's time they need the prayers and support of Ghanaians dearly.
