Manchester City, once again, cut adrift from the UEFA Champions League
Liverpool beat Man City 2-1, (5-1 aggregate) to qualify to the next stage of Uefa Champions League Competition. Ref. Mateu Lahoz from Spain made a terrible call. A possible penalty for a handball on James Milner wasn't called, but the worse was yet to come. He disallowed a goal that led to Manager Guardiola's ejection from the dugout. Pep before the match had flag his style of officiating, referencing his poor performance in last year's City and Monaco second-leg tie but the shine cannot be taken away from Liverpool. Manchester City was very much on life-support after losing 3-0 to Liverpool at Anfield in the first leg and Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino made sure they officially send Citi packing.
