Accra Hearts of Oak sinks deeper, and to no other than the newly promoted side
Karela FC by 3-1. Daniel Kordie gave Hearts the lead in the opening exchanges of the game Hearts nearly extended their lead through Daniel Kordie again but goalkeeper Isaac Hagan was equally up to the task by making some good saves. Few minutes into the second half, Karela quickly drew level and the goal came from a substitute, William Opoku Mensah. He subsequently bang-in two more goals to make it a hat-trick for Karela FC. Hearts of Oak were without their head coach, Henry Wellington due to ill-health but his deputy, Edward Nii Odoom was in the dugout for the game. This is Accra Hearts of Oak's fourth defeat in the ongoing league.
