The Black Bombers failed to secure sponsorship for the upcoming qualifiers from the Ministry of Youth and Sports

The Ministry of Youth and Sports have refused to sponsor the Black Bombers to participate in the incoming qualifers for Africa Boxing championship because of improper accountability of the previous administration to the Ministry. "Ghana is very interested in developing boxing in the country but firstly there must be a clear road Map of the association to involve themselves in local engagement before going for international matches and all these involve sponsorship. The Ministry can't just decide one day and select some boxers to a tournament. " George Lamptey revealed.
