FIFA CONFEDERATIONS CUP, RUSSIA 2017. ( 10TH EDITION).

The quadrennial intercontinental men's football championship is back with a haste this year, with Russia hosting the occasion.
  The tournament emerged in 1992, originally organized in Saudi Arabia as the King Fahd Cup, until FIFA took charge in 1997 to stage it a two year affair. In 2005, FIFA pinched in dynamics concerning the tournament. The tournament henceforth will be hosted every four years, with the host nation being the nation to host the following year's World Cup..
  The championship is contested by Eight teams: Six holders from the respective regional championships( UEFA, CAF, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, AFC, OFC), alongside the current World Cup holder, and the host nation.
Brazil is the most successful team when it comes to the tournament, they are also the defending champions though they couldn't participate in this edition, (4titles; 1997, 2005, 2009, 2013).
  Russia has taken charge this year, being their first time of hosting the tournament, with numerous dynamics to the sport by FIFA. Will they clinch glory for the first time? The elasticity of the field shall answer.
These are the teams to qualify, Portugal, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, Chile, Germany, Cameroun and Russia( host).
The tournament will kick start on the 17th of June, 2017, with exciting momentums as ever.
In spite of this, for the first time , Qatar couldn't host this tournament due to the gory temperature in the Summer season in, 2021, prior to the 2022 World Cup.
