Former Hearts of Oak Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi sacked from Ifeanyi Ubah.
Ex-Phobia trainer, Keni has been shown the exit door by Nigerian outfit Ifeanyi Ubah following poor run of form after just 2 months in charge. He was fired together with his Ghanaian assistant Yaw Preko. The accusation alleged to leading to his premature departure is being too physical in his training methods which led to the play of his side in matches which never yielded results.. The Anambra warriors lost 2-1 to Wiki tourist in their first match and lost against ten men River United 2-0 in the second game.
"We feel like the best way to change things going forward for the team is to make a change in this role. While we are confident that we've many of the pieces in place to improve and will see improvement, we needed to make change and have a different voice as the head of the technical team " a club source disclosed.
Kenichi was appointed last month to replace the Bulgarian, Mitko Dobrev who led the team to Federation Cup feat last season.
