Christopher Nimley back - lashes Avarm Grant over Black Stars call ups

Coach and Radio analyst,  Christopher Nimley lamented about the news of non residential camping before selecting the final squad.
In an interview with Happy Sports he said " When you are going for a tournament its only a coach who doesn't know his job who calls 30 man squad for justifiers before selecting the final 23-man squad. This never occurred in some developed football countries like Germany (2014),Spain (2010)and Brazil (2016) because the fewer the more effective the training regime.  So it's a comic relief for Grant to say he will use two days to observe the players, it's just a confirmation that he isn't on top of his job".
One of the problematic departments of the Black Stars is the goal keeping section but according to him it's no problem,  he said " If Kwarasey can't displace Razak as Black Stars first choice then both have no business been in the team. Grant hasn't brought any bite and enthusiasm into the team,  where is the Turkey and the New Zealand team.  Why hasn't Lawrence Atizigi been called into the Black Stars for the past two years?? A goalie who told out during the tournament in New Zealand and still gets regular play time hasn't been given a chance by Grant. I also expect Richard Ofori of Wa All Stars also to be given an equal opportunity.  Most of our defenders are on the bench of their various clubs? The likes of Jonathan Mensah and John Boye haven't lived to expectations yet they are called into the team regularly,  young defenders like Atamar Larweh should be given a chance.  All am trying to say is the Black Stars have a problem with transition under Avarm Grant and it's due time for us to do the right thing and give the team a bright future as a Star".
Preparations for the Afcon is still on course and official 23-man squad will be announced in a press conference before leaving for Dubai.
