Christopher Nimley fires cautions at the GFA

A former Black Stars player, a sports pundit at Citi FM and a coach warns the GFA officials never to allow Grant destroy the Stars team before he departs. Coach Nimley was in attendance yesterday at the St.Thomas Aquinas Secondary School where the stars are undergoing a nonresidential camping ahead of Afcon tournament.
In an interview he gave his assessment about what he saw yesterday he said " it's only the goalkeeping department that's competitive because looking at the training drills no coach on the globe will use that to access and agree with who is supposed to be in the team for the tournament or not. Non of the players well know will be definitely part of the final squad was present yesterday with the exception of those I know still playing in their various leagues. Some players where last minute call ups like Lawrence Atizigi,  Tekpker and co.  Am very bold Avarm Grant will not be Ghana's Coach after the Afcon, therefore he knows his final squad already but just want to pull legs. If you don't refresh your national team for more than five years it's likely they will flop no wonder the Black Stars are flopping".
On the side of the training regime he said "technically during the training Richard Ofori and Lawrence Atizigi was far ahead of the two experienced keepers. And l believe they are the future of the Black Stars goalkeeping department.  And to add to l personally think Daniel Amartey should be pairing with Ancamar Larweh or Nuru Sulley in the heart of defense because our current crop of defenders are a disaster ".
He end by admonishing the GFA to put their feet down and not allow Grant to have his way.  Black Stars team must be refreshed,  the team must have teeth and not be toothless like they are now.  This can be done by adding young ones with zeal and desire to bring some competition in the team.
