Ghanaian based local players miss out on the list of African based player of the year award

The Confederation of African Football on Saturday published the twenty five man list of local players including Keegan Dolly and Khama Billiat  of Mamelodi Sundowns and three players from the Egyptian Giants, Zamalek(Ali Gabr,Babbem Morsi and Aymen Hefny ).
It's been confirmed that there isn't any Ghana based player amongst the list, this has risen lots of eye brows. Gone are the days when the players of the giants of Ghana football, kotoko and Heart's of Oak players where constant amongst this list. Is this a confirmation of the several opinions around that the Ghana premier League is unattractive or it's an affirmation that the league lacks quality players as some ex local based players have lamented about. This is a call to do more to help our local football and Ghana as a nation.
