Akwesi Appiah crowned coach of the year.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup Ghanaian coach was awarded the overall best coach in the Sudanese league at the end of the season. Appiah who manages the Sundan Premier League side Al Khartoum, face a hot competition from Fawzy Al Mardy who was the head coach of the title winning side Al Hilal Omdurman. Coach Kwesi Appiah led his side, Khartoum to fifth position on the league table. He took charge of the Sudanese said in December 2014 some few months after he resigned as the head coach of the Black Stars
