Alisa Hotels, on Friday, September 25, presented a cheque for GH₵10,000 to Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) for the 40th MTN SWAG Awards Night.

A short presentation was made on Friday, September 25, 2015, at the hotel premise which was attended by executives and members of SWAG as well as management of the hotel.

        General Manager of Alisa Hotel, Yusif Olela who made the presentation on behalf of the hotel said his outfit was pleased to be associated with SWAG because they have been involved in the promotion of sports for a long time.

       He recounted some of the support the hotel has given to sports in the country saying the hotel currently accommodates the senior national football team Black Stars.

       He added that the brain behind the hotel, Mr Kwame Ofosu Bamfo is also a patron of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), SWAG and member of the Black Stars Management Committee therefore sports promotion and development is at the heart of the hotel.

      He also commended SWAG for their contribution to the development of sports in the country and urged them to continue to honor deserving sports men and women in the country.

       Mr. Kwaben Yeboah President of SWAG thanked the hotel for coming on board to support the event.

      He said the Association will continue strive for the best by awarding deserving candidates every year.

       According to Mr. Yeboah, the gesture expressed by Alisa Hotel will go a long a way to help the association and assured them that the donation will will be used for its intended purpose.

      He also noted that "SWAG is proud to be associated with Alisa and we hope this partnership will last forever”.
