Activa International Insurance parters MTN for 40th SWAG Awards

Activa International Insurance Company, has become the second biggest sponsor, after MTN of the 40th Edition MTN-SWAG Awards Night, slated for Banquet Hall, State House, Accra on October 3.

 

     Activa International Insurance company on Thursday, September 17, presented a cheque for 30,000ghc and a free Personal Accident Insurance covers with a value of GHC 1million sum insured each to the three top award winners this year.

     Mr. Stephen Kyerematen, Managing Director of Activa International Insurance Company, who presented the cheque on behalf of Activa said, his outfit will continue to support SWAG because of the very important role they play in promoting sports in Ghana by unearthing new sporting talents in Ghana and rewarding sportsmen and women who achieve excellence every year.

 

     "SWAG's efforts are very commendable since the exploits of our top and shining sportsmen and women on the international stage represent a powerful branding tool for our dear country Ghana. For example through the sterling efforts of Andre Ayew in Swansea City which earned him the Barclays Premier League Player of the month during his maiden season in UK League, Ghana's name has gained prominence in the football world in the UK and elsewhere.
