ASANTE KOTOKO IN GROUP C OF THE CAF CONFEDERATION CUP

Fabulous Kumasi Asante Kotoko has been handed a tough group in their ongoing Caf Confederation campaign. Kotoko who beat Coton Sport De Garoua in Kumasi to advance to the group stages have been paired against some crack sides. Kumasi Asante Kotoko yesterday beat Coton Sport De Garoua by two goals to one at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi and by doing so they have qualified to the group stages of the Caf Confederation Cup and they have been paired in group C with some notable names like; Nkana Fc from Zambia, Al Hilal from Sudan and Zesco Fc also from Zambia. This group will be a tough one as Asante Kotoko has an old score to settle when the meet with Al Hilal because these two clubs met each other in the first group stage in 2004.
