Tiger Woods Reportedly on his Way to Augusta National
The Augusta Chronicle claimed a plane with serial numbers matching
that of Woods' Gulfstream jet was parked by the terminal reserved for
private aircraft at Augusta Regional Airport on Tuesday morning.
Airport communications manager, Lauren Smith, could not confirm if Woods was on the plane, although she said: "It's not out of the norm for players to come the week before the tournament.”
Other reports in the US media hinted that Woods was scheduled to play a practice round at Augusta National before deciding if his game was in good enough shape to feature in the first major of the season.
