Black Meteors Qualify for 2015 All Africa Games
Coach Malik Jabir and his charges were bent on over-turning a one
goal deficit they suffered in Maputo and the team started the game with
tenacity as the likes of Rahman Chibsah, Raymond Gyasi and Asiedu
Attobrah dictated the pace of the game from midfield.
The players were however wasteful upfront as they could have wrapped the game in the first half.
The Meteors had to wait until the 69th to get their first goal through an own goal. After the first goal, they piled excessive pressure on the Mozambiquans and it finally paid off in the 82nd minute when Bright Adjei connected a pass from Roda JC’s Raymond Gyasi to give Ghana the much needed second goal.
