Kenichi's Aduana Ready to face high flying Vita Club
The Congolese sides morale was boosted after clinching the domestic league some few days ago ahead of Wednesday match with Aduana Stars. Association Sportive Vita Club flocked Ivoran gaints, Asec Mimosa in a 3-1 win at Kinshasa stadium and held they Moroccan counterparts, Raja Casablanca to a goalless draw at Stade Mohamed V Casablanca to move top of Group A with 4 points.
Their midweek counterparts, Aduana Stars are having a herculean task to deal with, the suspension of the local league and the sacking of Head Coach Yussif Abubakar some few weeks ago. Although the introduction of Japanese Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi will install some boost in camp, facing Vita a team on top form will require a lot of technical work to get players in shape for the game.
Aduana Stars CAF campaign hasn't been encouraging, sitting bottom of Group A with a point but a win on Wednesday at Nana Agyeman Badu ll park could change the club fortunes and recandle the hopes of the Ghanaian Champions to make it to the next stage of the competition.
