Professor Azumah Nelson will be honoured by the World Boxing Council on his 60th Birthday

On July 19th. The governing body will put some icing on the cake to the three times world boxing Champ during the next edition of Azumah Nelson fight night sponsored by Azumah Nelson Promotions will take place in the legends childhood area, Bukom Boxing Arena. This will mark 20 years after the Professor called time on his magnificent career. The iconic boxer is acknowledged for his success in and out of the ring since retirement. Zoom Zoom Azumah Nelson is regarded as Africa's greatest boxer and the WBC Greatest Super featherweight of All-time. He was awarded with Nicaraguan Alexis Arguello as the WBC Greatest Super featherweight Boxers of All-time at Las Vegas on December 15,2014 and also received the WBC Champion award at the 55th WBC Convention in Baku, Azerbaijan on November 2017 and also won the GUBA Sporting Legend Award at an awards ceremony held in London for recognition of Nelson's outstanding boxing career. After retiring in 1998, the terrible warrior has been mentoring a host of young youth in the Sports including his own son, Azumah Nelson Jnr. Azuamah Nelson is currently the brand ambassador of oil marketing company, Coil and the director of Kenpong Construction and Telecom Limited.
