10 Ghanaian officials Risk ban from CAF

Ten Ghanaian referees and assistant referees including a woman have been provisionally suspended by the Confederation of African Football pending their appearance before a Disciplinary Board on the 5th August 2018. CAF Disciplinary Board in the same vain have reprimanded and in some cases placed outright ban on the referees caught in the video. The hardest hit is Mr. Marwa Range, Assistant Referee from Kenya who have been handed a life ban from all CAF related football activities. Others include Referee Boukari Ouedraogo (Burkina Faso) and Moriba Diakite (Mali), Demba Boubou (Mauritania), Maman Raja Abba Malan Ousseini (Niger), all assistant referees. They serve a 5 years ban from all CAF related football activities. Referee Yanissou Bebou(Togo) and Assistant Referee Jallow Ebrima (Gambia) have a 10 years ban placed on them. Assistant Referee Marius Tan, Bi Valere Gouho and Referee Coulibay Abou, all of Cote d’Ivoire also surfers a 2 years ban from all CAF related football activities and Denis Dembele, Referee (Cote d’Ivoire) serves a 6 years ban. Number 12 seems to be yielding results and ace investigative journalist has stated that it is an African thing and wasn't only focused on Ghana during brouhaha in the country.
