Tunisia trumps over Algeria
Algeria was silenced by a 2-1 defeat at the Stade De Franceville to the Eagles Tunisia. An own goal in the 50th minute by Aissa Mandi putted the Eagles in the lead. Tunisia later doubled their lead after Sunderland man, Wahbi Khazri was fouled around the 18-yard box. Naim Sliti curled the ball beautifully from the spot into the net to make it two.
The Algerians slot one behind in dying efforts of the game through Sofiana Nanmi. The Eagles Tunisia will be up against the warriors of Zimbabwe in a decider clash to win a ticket into the next stage of the competition.
