GABON 2017 CUP OF NATIONS.

The main international association football in Africa which was first held in 1957, is alive again to witness it's 31st edition. It is a biennial men's championship of Africa organized by the Confederation of Africa's Football (CAF). This year's fiesta is hosted by Gabon, who didn't impress their home inhabitants in the previous moment they hosted, in 2012. The team is drawn in group A ,logging horns with their fierce neighbours Burkina Faso, Cameroon, and the Guinea-Bissau. Can they really test the acidity of the oceans, in their second glance? Let's wait to witness.
    The competition holds certain applauding records such as:
Samuel Eto'o Fils of Cameroon netting 18 gls in his 14  appearances.
Laurent Pokou of Cote D'Ivoire netting 14 gls.
  In other light, Cameroon legendary defender Rigiobert Song holds the record of the player with most appearances ( 8). The same feat is also acquired by Egypt's star man and legend Ahmed Hassan.
  Egypt and Ghana , hold the record of most country with most host bids ( 4) respectively.
   The Pharaohs of Egypt carries the crown for the nation with most wins: pld ( 91), W( 51), followed by the Ghana, pld(89), W( 50), Nigeria, pld (86), W(46), Ivory Coast, pld (87), W(39). Etc.
    This years fiesta is an outstanding and crunching fixtures and actions due to the high profiled and on form African players plying their trade abroad with marvelous ratings, with other stars in the diaspora. Not talk of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Andre Ayew, Saido Mane, Riyad Mahrez, Slimani, etc.
  Moments of attention will be shifted to the readiness of these super stars, as they dazzle their skills and abilities in the tournament.
