Ghana Amputee League begins
The Ghana Amputee league has started at Wembley Arena Kotobabi, in Accra. The ongoing league is being played in four regions, with eight participating teams. The Greater Accra, Ashanti Region, Central Region and Eastern Region are the selected regions for the league, also the Accra Sports Stadium, El Wak Stadium, Lizzy Sports Complex, Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Koforidua Sports Stadium are as well host venues for the league that's according to the Ghana Amputee Football League Board (GAFLB). Winners of the competition gets a trophy and a cash of $20,000. The 2nd and 3rd place teams will have a price money of $15,000 and $10,000 respectively.
