ACCRA OPEN SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP

The championship contained 5 different teams, with over 80 participant through out including our own best swimmer, Abeiku Jackson, who won 10 gold medals in Germany Open.  KNUST, Legon Sharks , Ghana White Sharks, Ghana Dolphins, and the Anopaphins, where the Ghana White Sharks stood victors. The championship was proudly honoured by the presence of great personalities, The Deputy Director General of the National Sports Authority, Mr Saka Acquaye, and also the President of the Gambia Swimming Association Mrs Khadija Njie Sanusi.
  The outcome of the championship was outstandingly fantastic, due to the fact that , aside Abeiku Jackson and Kaya (currently training for Rio), more potentials where discovered, which depicts a true product of hard work and perseverance, from the President of the sport and his team.
  The president roofed the championship opens with a slating remarks, he said the purpose for this occasion is to swimming as sort after like football, and for that matter the next resource to yield more money is on the waters, hence swimming. He also reiterated that, the mission so far has unearthed a new champ in name Abeiku Jackson, who can push the swimming frontiers of our nation at a bullet speed, and a lady called Kaya, who is currently training in Spain. He also cemented that , Swimming is of course the next source of wealth in sporting arena, and for that matter, this event will be hosted across the regions of Ghana. The next to host is Kumasi, in September. In an overview, the next sport will be on the water , hence this vision will surely uphold and succeed. The occasion was proudly sponsored by IPMC, Healthy life, and of course The National Sports Authority.
