Tyson Fury v Wladimir Klitschko to be held in Germany on October 24
The world title fight was due to go to purse bids after negotiations
stalled, but a deal was struck at the last moment at the WBA offices in
Panama.
The contest will now take place in the German city of Dusseldorf on October 24.
Klitschko holds three versions of the world title – those of the IBF, the WBA and the WBO. The latter two organisations ordered the Ukrainian to defend against mandatory challenger Fury.
The unbeaten Mancunian tweeted: "The Gypsy King will come out of this fight as the best heavyweight on the planet.
"Viva Deutschland, I'm coming to rock your country in October. Be there or miss the best fight in heavyweight history."
