GHANA CHESS ASSOCIATION ENTERS QUALIFIERS TO WORLD CHESS OLYMPICS RUSSIA 2020

Players from the Ghana chess association started their qualifiers for world chess Olympics next year in Russia.

Senyegah Paul tops the first stage of the qualifiers followed by Ameku David,Akoto Nana Baffour,Onuoha Wilson and Anhwere Bernard in the men division while in the women division Majid-Michel Lady Rowena lead the top five with Dotse Dzidzor Esi,Barnor Rebecca,Addo Pearl and Barnor Mary followed in the other to complete the selection of stage one qualifiers in the two day championship at Accra Sports Stadium.

They have to prepare well for the next stages of the qualifiers next year to seek qualification to the World Chess Olympics in Russia September,2020,the championship was organized by the Ghana Chess Association(GCA),supervised by Africa Chess Union and supported by FIDE.
