On the brink of Qualification to France

The Black Princess have beaten their Algerian opponent 5-0 in the on-going FIFA World Cup qualifiers match played in Algiers yesterday.

Elmina Sea Lions midfield maestro Olivia Anokye netted a brace with Grace Asantewaa, Sandra Owusu Ansah and Helena Obeng all finding the back of the net. The win puts Ghana in a good stance to qualify to the next stage of the qualifiers with a return leg pending .

  Winner of the two-leg tie will book a place in the next round of the 2019 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in France.
