GAA holds annual congress at the Cape Coast stadium Conference Room on Friday, 29th December, 2017.

Among other things, Congress reviewed the 2017 athletics programme; Ghana's participation and performance at the IAAF World Championships London 2017; made some constitutional amendments to the GAA Constitution including the creation of the Athletes Commission, Coaches Commission and Women's Committee; reviewed the 2016 GAA audited accounts; and previewed the GAA's programme for 2018.
